Picture of the Month: Pete Racing at the 1991 National Championships at Eastnor Castle near Malvern
Mad Cow Racing was originally formed in 1990 by three sports addicts, Tony Ferrari, Graham Pentney and Pete Davis.
We all had backgrounds in different sports that were largely endurance based, revolved around motorbikes or martial arts. Many of these would now be termed "extreme sports" but it was our love of the then infant sport of Mountain Biking that brought us together.
Our backgrounds include: Mountain Biking, Running, Triathlon, Moto Cross, Enduro, Side Car Cross, White Water Canoeing, Rock Climbing, Ju-Jitsu, Judo, Karate and Rugby (of course it's extreme)!
We were joined soon after our formation by Kevin Miller who could add Dragon Boat Racing (I kid you not) to our resume. A few others joined us and left along the way and I'm sure we will be telling you all about them in time (we are still trying to remember their names).

This site is intended to be a celebration of the sheer lunacy that was (and is) Mad Cow Racing but also is a vehicle for many of my other interests. The site is still under development so how about sticking it in your favourites as it is updated regularly.

If you were expecting a site about a classic motorcycle racing team (www.madcowracing.co.uk) you need to click here
If on the other hand you were expecting a site about an American Speed Skier called John Hembel then you need to be here
Popular name isn't it!
